I participated in a peace walk in Otsu city, Shiga prefecture, with 2 friends. We had a pretty good time, and I actually got interviewed and was in the newspaper the next day.

The start of the peace walk. There was a stage to the right, and there were a few speakers before it officially started.

We walked by a parked car.

We made friends with this nice lady, who lent Koji her blue megaphone.

The friendly lady turned out to be kind of annoying.

This man is wearing a sign in opposition of American strategic occupation of Japan in case of a war.

This one says "stop the attack on Iraq".

Just when you thought things were going to get a little peaceful, we ended up in a Macintosh store ... look out world ... here comes the army of incredibly slow, expensive computers ... (oops I bought one too)

Here we are (were), very peaceful.
