When I got to Fukushima, the first thing I did was take a bus out to Kevin's litle town. This but had a wooden floor!

We went up to Yamagata prefecture for an afternoon, to eat tonkatsu at a famous restaurant.

This restaurant, Bikki-Ishi, is famous for HUGE servings of tonkatsu.

Yes, it's that big. I have huge hands, just in case there was no shock value to this picture. It actually took me 2 days to eat this gigantic mass of food.

Some kind of exotic PINK Japanese fruit. I have no idea what this is, what it tastes like, and I doubt I'll ever see it again. If anyone has any idea what this is, please let me know.

On the way home one night, we ran across another rhineoceros beetle. Too bad I didn't keep Marvin, I could have had a rhineoceros beetle farm! (this one is a female, it doesnt' have a horn)

On the way home - You can't really see it too well in this picture, but that janitor's dumpster-thing is on a robotic tread-wheel that automatically climbs stairs. So cool!!!
