August 24th is Minori's birthday! Happy birthday! We went out for a last conveyor belt sushi meal with Chris and U-chan, and then out to dinner later on with Devani.

Minori is happy to be eating sushi. Hey, everyone should be happy to be eating sushi!

I was not extremely hungry, I only managed 5 sushis... yes those plates in the backgorund are U-chan's!

UH-OH ... SOMEONE ORDERED RAW HORSE!!

OH MY GOD THIS IS RAW HORSE SUSHI!! I'm not kidding ... in Japan, they have raw horse sushi, it's called "ba-sashi", and it was one of the only foods I ever flat-out refused to try.

"Tori Tataki" ... Tataki is an interesting method of cooking food wherein only the outside of the meat is cooked. The inside remains raw. "Tori" means ... CHICKEN!
